15th Annual KEEN Golf & Tennis Classic

The Event: Please join us for the 15th Annual KEEN Golf & Tennis Classic on Monday, April 28, 2008 at beautiful Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. The tournament is a great way for friends of KEEN to get together for a day of fun on the course or court, while raising funds for KEEN’s innovative sports and recreation programs. The event includes a 19th-hole reception with open bar, an awards dinner and a silent auction and raffle featuring select sports and travel related items.
Why: KEEN is a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational coaching for more than 225 children and young adults with significant disabilities through thirteen sports and arts programs - including basketball, swimming, tennis, bowling, music and dance – held on weekends throughout the year. In early 2008, we will open a KEEN Music program at St. Coletta School in Southeast, DC. Proceeds from this year’s event will help us continue to offer all of these special programs entirely free-of-charge to our athletes and their families.
Schedule: Please note: Due to renovation of Woodmont’s North Course, the event will take place only on the South Course – so please reserve early!

4:30 pm Target Tennis Skills Challenge
5:30 pm Cocktails and Awards Dinner with Silent Auction & Raffle for all!
