Our year-round program takes place at Tilden Middle School in North Bethesda, Md, every second and forth Sunday of each month. After a group warm-up, the teens and their coaches spend time playing with basketballs, jump ropes, scooters, parachutes, hula hoops, and more. Then, the group comes back together and each athlete, aided as needed by his or her volunteer coach, tells everyone “What they did today that made them very Proud!”

Orientation for first-time volunteers begins at 11:30 a.m. Experienced coaches are asked to come at 12 p.m. The sessions end at 3:00 p.m. Individual volunteers are welcome to attend any session without notice, but we require volunteer groups to Contact Us to reserve a date in advance.

KEEN Teens also has a special opportunity for teenage volunteers who are able to make a long-term commitment. Coaches will work throughout the school year with the same teenaged athlete developing a peer relationship. These session are more structured and meet from 3:15-4:45 p.m. on alternate Sundays. Sports 1 Parents
Athletes should arrive at 12:15 p.m. and be picked up at 1:30 p.m.

Sports 2 Parents
Athletes should arrive at 1:45 p.m. and be picked up at 3:00 p.m.

Club Parents
Athletes should arrive at 3:15 p.m. and be picked up at 4:45 p.m.
