Tutoring Mike Frandsen (www.coachmike.net) offers one on one tutoring and coaching services for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other disabilities in Bethesda and surrounding areas. Services include instruction in academics, sports, social skills, emotions, life skills, and play date facilitation. Mike volunteered at KEEN for 7 years and for Special Olympics for 2 years. Currently two time slots per week are open. Contact Mike at mike@coachmike.net Weekend Companion Sought Our son, active in Teen Club, needs weekend "big brother" or "big sister." He's very social and engaging, but needs someone to help him stay motivated and active. We're close to both Tenley and Friendship Heights metro stations. High Functioning Autism Study Nova Southeastern University and Towson University Invite Children with High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder who are between 8 and 12 years old, along with their parents or guardians, to participate in a study about social participation.
