KEEN's mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of its athletes through non-competitive activities, allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals.

Save May 7 for KEEN Golf Classic 2012!

Please join us for the 19th Annual Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN) Golf Classic on Monday, May 7, 2012 at beautiful Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. This year, KEEN Greater DC celebrates its 20th anniversary of providing free-of-charge exercise and recreation programs for children with profound disabilities. The tournament is a great way for friends of KEEN to get together to celebrate our accomplishments, enjoy a day of fun on the course, and raise funds and awareness for KEEN Greater DC. We hope you will join our major sponsor Marriott International in supporting us!

KEEN Greater DC Launches 23rd Program!

Thanks to a partnership with Chung's Martial Arts Center in Silver Spring, MD, we're thrilled to announce the launch of KEEN Tae Kwon Do, a once a month program for our youngest athletes! With a roster of 21 KEEN athletes, our first session, which took place on Saturday, Jan. 14 at Chung's studio, was a huge success!

KEEN Greater DC athletes Achieve PALA and meet the President and First Lady

At a special White House event, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama congratulated KEEN Greater DC athletes for being one of the first two groups to earn their Presidential Active Lifestyle Awards (PALAs). Read more on the Let's Move blog.
