Volunteer position description – Program Orientation Presenter

Position Aim: The Program Orientation Presenters provide support to KEEN programs by leading orientation for new volunteers each week.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Set up orientation materials – volunteer registration forms, pens and video if needed
  • Take inventory of all materials and make program manager aware of what needs to be restocked or replaced
  • Great new volunteers – guide them through the sign- in process, making a name tag, collecting community service forms
  • Lead orientation
  • Answer any questions that a new volunteer may have about our athletes, KEEN or the structure of our sessions
  • Break down and put away orientation materials

Requested Time Commitment:
Time commitment depends on the program and location
1-4 hours/ 2 times a month on weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:
While there are no required qualifications and all are invited to volunteer for this position, the orientation presenter must learn talking points related to orientation presentation.
