The First-Ever KEEN Prom! 

Thank you Bullis School community for creating, organizing and hosting the 2016 KEEN Prom. It was a fantastic event and our teens had a ball with their Bullis buddies!

Bullis Gives Back 5k/2.5K

The annual Bullis Gives Back 5k/2.5k  & wheelchair accessible "Buddy Run" was a great success!  Thank you Bullis School community for once again choosing KEEN Greater DC as one of the beneficiaries.

Euro Festival at the French Embassy

Kids Euro Festival 2011: Another Great Event! 

KEEN at the White House 

On November 29, 2010 President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama congratulated 18 athletes from KEEN Greater DC for being one of the first two groups to earn their Presidential Active Lifestyle Awards (PALAs) at a special gathering at the White House.





Kids Euro Festival

On October 31, 2010, KEEN Greater DC enjoyed a special Kids Euro Festival at the Embassy of France! The event included an Estonian circus, a Polish shadowbox theater show, and a Portuguese "Around the Body in 40 minutes show, as well as face painting, air brush tatoos, balloons, caricatures, and more.

KEEN Club Takes Special Ride


Thanks to the generous donation of Bob Sickels and Kids After Hours Summer Camp, KEEN Club athletes and volunteers enjoyed a private bus ride into Washington, DC, for the Washington Wizards game on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010.



KEEN Athletes Tour White House

Each year, KEEN Club enjoys a trip to the White House. On their private tour, KEEN’s athletes express deep interest and curiosity, sometimes asking questions that stump the Secret Service.




Washington Kastles Kids Tennis Clinic

In July 2009, KEEN athletes learned tips and techniques from professional players of the Washington Kastles tennis team during a special one-day clinic at the team’s outdoor stadium in downtown Washington, DC. Afterward, KEEN athletes and their families were invited to stay to watch their “coaches” compete in professional tennis matches.

KEEN Celebrates Redskins Partnership

The Washington Redskins presented KEEN Greater DC with its 2008 Fans Helping Fans Community Service Award at a 2008 Monday Night Football “Chalk Talk Luncheon,” recognizing KEEN’s outstanding commitment and support to community service in the metro Washington area.

KEEN athletes and their volunteer coaches from Georgetown Preparatory Academy joined Washington Redskins players and strength and conditioning coaches at the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation’s 2008 1st Down for Fitness Program held at Redskin Park, Ashburn, Virginia.
